Blogthings - If Your Life Was a Movie, What Genre Would It Be?
The Movie Of Your Life Is An Indie Flick

You do things your own way - and it's made for colorful times.
Your life hasn't turned out how anyone expected, thank goodness!

Your best movie matches: Clerks, Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite

And that's really all I have to say.

  Memed again!
This time by Raida over at Lala Land. Actually, see tagged me on my other blog but I decided to do it here for a few reasons.

1. I just posted on that blog . Besides that, it is a meme free zone.
2. I wanted to get her over here to see my template progression
3. The blog she tagged is way too serious for me to say....................
............What the hell are you thinking Raida???? Are you REALLY living in Lala Land? I did this meme three weeks ago on yet another blog
and you even left a comment!!!!

So here I go AGAIN because she's a good gal, that Raida!

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they’re listening to.
NOTE: I have added lyrics for my own personal enjoyment! (plus I saw someone else do it!)

Yes - Close to the Edge
Because it's on the radio right now and it's a great tune!
"Now that it's all over and done,
Now that you find, now that you're whole."

Rush - The Trees
One of the best songs they've ever done and they have plenty
"There is unrest in the forest,
There is trouble with the trees,
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas."

The Allman Brothers - Seven Turns
A good friends ringtone
"Seven turns on the highway,
Seven rivers to cross.
Sometimes, you feel like you could fly away,
Sometimes, you get lost."

Box of Rain - The Grateful Dead
Because I could never, ever leave this one out
"What do you want me to do
To do for you to see you through?
For this is all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago"

Be My Baby - The Ronettes, Dirty Dancing Soundtrack
The girls at work have played this disc OVER AND OVER all week long.
"Oh, since the day I saw you
I have been waiting for you
You know I will adore you
Till eternity
So won't you please
(Be my be my baby) Be my little baby
(I want it only say) Say you'll be my darling
(Be my be my baby) Be my baby now
(I want it only say) Ooh, ohh, ohh, ohh, oh"

Eye in the Sky - Alan Parsons Project
Another one I heard on the radio today. I've always loved this song
"I am the eye in the sky,Looking at you
I can read your mind
I am the maker of rules, Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don’t need to see any more
To know that
I can read your mind, I can read your mind"

Ripple - The Grateful Dead
Reminded of this reat one again today. It never leaves me, this song.
"You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home"

And now that part that leaves everyone sitting on the edge of their seat. The seven blogs I have tagged became the lucky ones because of their blog titles!

Say Hello to Jax at Seven Dwarfs
Iain is building a car over at Iain's Seven
Shelly at Seven.Caged.Tigers is also a big music fan
Brian is a Jersey boy over at Fall Seven Times, Stand up Eight
It's hard to imagine but Sherry the Mother of 7 Boys
Snow White, Seven Dwarves and PDD
is authored by Supermom, also with 7 children!
And lastly a Drum Corps enthusiast! Hello Lee at Blog 7

  Well, I've almost got it
I have the basics here but it didn't come easy. I still have lots to do but have to let it go for tonight. Many thanks to Andy for his help with this. I have a feeling he hasn't heard the last of me however!

I saw a couple walking together this morning
As I sat outside drinking coffee and yes, smoking (cloves, not tobacco although I'm not real happy about it) I saw couple walking on the sidewalk. They were headed downtown I suppose. Each with a sweater on. Each carrying a jacket. I had my jacket on. It was cool outside. I couldn't help but wonder if one was waiting for the other to make the move to put it on or if they were both just really comfortable. Do we wait for approval or do we just want to please? It really got me thinking. And it's funny how here it is hours later and it is still on my mind. Just thoughts to ponder I guess.

  No luck with this!
I've gotten enough hits since my last post to see that no template expert is going to jump up and help me with my CSS problem so I think I may have to start looking for a new template. The thing is that I really love this one THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK and this ain't it! Gotta' start looking again. A big, fat sorry to Blogfrocks for my incompetence.

  Calling all template experts!
I'm still working on this template and seem to be having a hard time finding the EXACT code to insert my stylesheet. It is CSS powered and uploaded to my server. Any help would be appreciated!
Peace.....................

  Great Weekend!
But, it's over! Beginning a new position at work tomorrow. It's sort of a "fill-in"-"assistant" type thing. It's always good to learn new things. I'm really beginning to feel like I fit in at my place of employment. It's hard when you're a temporary employee. I guess people don't really want to get to know you too well. I imagine they see many seasonal employees come and go. I hope I don't find myself subconsciously treating seasonal employees any differently from the others I work with now that I've been hired on "permanent". The dynamics of the work environment are......confusing to me at times. It is what it is.

  We'll see what happens
I think I might end up liking this space here. This blog is different from my others. It began differently and now it is evolving into something else altogether. Just like the others, it will eventually find it's place. Find it's own rhythm.
I got a little bit done on the template this morning but seem at a stand still right now. I'm stuck on the sidebar and can't seem to get it in the template where it belongs. When I look at the codes tomorrow, maybe it will hit me.
I want to let my fellow bloggers know that even though I've more or less high jacked this blog, they are still lisedt as contributors and free to post whenever they want. They can even poke at the template settings. But until I hear any objections, I will carry on!

  A long way to go.......
.............before this template looks as beautiful as the one I have downloaded the code for but I promise to keep working on it! I'm just out of time for tonight!
Thanks, thanks, thanks to Blogfrocks for the template and being patient with me!

Two Sista's and a Dude is now the blog I've High Jacked
